Oceanfront New Home

 

This oceanfront new construction home is a modern interpretation of the traditional shingle style on Eastern Point in Gloucester, Massachusetts;  a seaside peninsula known for its historic grand homes and beautiful vistas.  

 

In the tradition of the shingle style, this 5,000 square foot home has wrap around porches, multiple dormers and gables with large windows - plus an observation tower.

Stone walls found on the site were used to face the foundation and as the base of a collonaded living room in the center of the first floor, creating an open plan which the owner requested.
