New York City Apartment Combination

 

In the confines of costly Manhattan real estate, combining a one bedroom with a studio apartment is a popular solution for housing a family with two children.  A wall between two apartments in this 15 story Upper West Side building was removed. The remaining necessary column structure was framed to create storage and display space.  The kitchen was enlarged and opened up to the living area.
